Biography

Sara Baldoni received her Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from Roma Tre University in 2016 2016, with a thesis about distributed image processing for Earth observation from LEO satellites,  and Master degree in Information and Communication Technology Engineering from Roma Tre University in 2018, with a thesis about security for GNSS Augmentation Networks. She has been enrolled in the Ph.D. course in Applied Electronics at Roma Tre University from 2018 to 2021  designing of a context-aware security framework which has been applied to geolocalization and Cyber-Physical Systems. She is now a Post Doc researcher at the Department of Industrial, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering at Roma Tre University.

Research

Her main research interests are in the area of Communication Security and Navigation and Localization Systems.

  • ISEEYOO – AI-based Network Anomaly Detection for CPS exploiting 2D data representation
    The ISEEYOO Project aims at designing and implementing an anomaly detection system for monitoring the information collected from a network of Cyber Physical Systems (CPSs) in the communication phase. It is founded under the University of Padova “SEED Research Grants”.

  • RAILGAP
    The RAILGAP project aims at using GNSS for rail positioning to allow a safer and smarter mobility. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No: 101004129.

  • VOLIERA – Video Odometry with Lidar and EGNSS for ERTMS Applications
    The VOLIERA project aims at defining a multi-sensor positioning system for the railway scenario. The positioning framework involves GNSS, IMU, LIDAR, stereo cameras and time-of-flight cameras. VOLIERA is co-funded by the ESA – NAVISP – 2 program.

  • INSECTT – Intelligent Secure Trustable Things
    The INSECTT project aims at providing intelligent secure and trustable systems for industrial applications combining the Internet of Things paradigm with Artificial Intelligence. It is a H2020 ECSEL EU Project (Grant Agreement Number 876038).
