We had the pleasure to organize the 13th International Symposium on Image and Signal Processing and Analysis (ISPA 2023), that was held in Rome on September 18-19, 2023. We received 75 submissions presenting research and applications of signal and image processing. The program committee selected 44 submissions for presentation at ISPA 2023. The papers were organized into four oral sessions and two poster sessions. The goal of the symposium is to foster the exchange of information between researchers and to serve as a meeting point to establish further contacts for future research collaborations. We wish all ISPA participants had a successful meeting and an enjoyable stay in Rome, and we hope to see you in many future ISPA symposia!
