Biography

Ilaria Mannocchi graduated in Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Physical Activities in 2017 at the University of “Foro Italico” and from 2016 she worked in the fields of sport and rehabilitation. In November 2020 she started a PhD in Applied Electronics at Roma Tre University and her field of research is estimating the quality of experience through the human movement and orthopaedic rehabilitation in virtual reality context.

Research

Her main research interests are in the area of Quality of Experience evaluation, rehabilitation and Virtual Reality.

Ongoing projects

  • EHEM
    The EHEM project seeks to create digital layered models of medieval architecture and mural paintings that are as close as possible to the originals at different time periods, ultimately to provide both an improved perception and experience to the public and an instrument for researchers, restorers, and heritage curators. This project is developed by a multidisciplinary team with researchers from Italy, Cyprus, and Catalonia.
